GUESTS AND VISITORS. . . Welcome! We are delighted to have you with us in worship today. Please know that NURSERY CARE is provided during the 9:30 A.M. service for infants thru 3yr. olds in Classroom #6 across from the preschool playground and that coffee, punch and donuts are available in the courtyard between services. If you’re a first time visitor, please, stop at the welcome table by the main entrance to receive your gift. You certainly are a gift to us!

PRAYER REQUEST?. . . Sumbit the tan prayer request card to an usher after the opening announcements at 8 and 11 A.M. or place it in the offering plate at 9:30 A.M.

SUNDAY SCHOOL/KIDS CONNECTION...Sunday School meets at 9:30 A.M. for children three years of age to sixth grade. Please join us in the Fellowship Hall for music and offering and then we will adjourn to our class rooms. If you have not done so already, please complete a Sunday School Registration form for your children.

PASTORS' SERMONS ON OUR WEB SITE OR ON CD... Did you miss a Sunday sermon or want to share the sermon with someone? We have two ways that you can accomplish this. You can select LISTEN TO SERMONS and then click on a sermon or if you want a CD of a sermon just stop by the welcome table and fill out the bottom portion of the gold-colored for and turn it in to one of the greeters or give it to one of the elders.

2009 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL..THIS WEEK!. . .We are serving dinner at 5:00 P.M. if you would like to join us. Dinner will be $2 per night. The cost for VBS is $25 per child. VBS starts at 5:45 P.M. in the church. This year we will be studying the Lord’s Prayer. We hope your child(ren) will join us for this wonderful opportunity of learning and fellowship.

ICE CREAM SOCIAL AFTER THE 6:01 SERVICE ON JULY 19TH . . . Longing for a simpler time? Remember when a dollar could really buy you something? Come join us Sunday night for an old fashioned ice cream social where a donation of any amount will get you a great ice cream sundae and some unwinding time with friends. YOUTH & FAMILY MINISTRY’S ANNUAL PARKING LOT FUNDRAISER...We are looking for volunteers that will commit 2 hrs. of their time on the weekend of September 18th - 20th. NEW ORLEANS SUMMER MISSION TRIP. . . (August 2-7) – The devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina are still felt today in New Orleans. Broken home and lives are in need of repair. PORTALES ORACIÓN. . . is the Spanish-language version of the popular daily devotional Portals of Prayer. Portales Oración is written in Spanish and is not simply a translation of the English text. Perhaps you speak Spanish as a first language or have Spanish-speaking relatives who might appreciate their own copy of this classic devotional periodical. HAVE YOU DONE SOME SPRING CLEANING?. . . but don’t quite know what to do with all our your trash? Well, your trash just might be our treasure! Camp Ohana, Hephatha’s Summer Day Camp, is currently looking for gently-used items for our Program. Some of the items we are looking for are: easy-ups, patio furniture, toy chests, fans, walkie-talkies, and electric skillet, art supplies, games, puzzles, movies (G only, please), X-Box games (E only, please), legos, dolls, Barbies and fun area rugs. SLOWFLOW EXERCISE CLASS. . . Pam Fraser leads this Christian based Yoga class every Wednesday at 6:45 A.M. and 1:30 P.M. It’s meetings in the Fellowship Hall and proceeds will benefit our Youth and Family Ministries. To join either one of the classes you just need to be here at the appropriate time.

HEPHATHA SCHOOLS’ MINISTRY. . . provides children with an opportunity to have a Christ-centered education with an enriched school curriculum that includes Foreign Language and Fine Arts! As the Principal of Hephatha Lutheran School I would like to encourage the members of Hephatha who have children entering preschool through eighth grade to take advantage of the priority enrollment period. Take a tour of your school and see all it has to offer! Our staff also requests your prayers for the schools ministry as we begin this enrollment period for 2009-2010 school year.
