RESOURCE PROGRAM

Hephatha Lutheran School offers a Resource Program designed to help students who need extra help or have special needs. Our Resource teacher works closely with the classroom teacher to integrate needed assistance within the scope of the student's work in the classroom.

Homework club

Homework Club is a service provided by School Age Care to those children enrolled in our school. Children may attend Monday thru Thursday from 3:15 to 4:30. During that time they will work on their daily homework assignments, study for tests, and or any needed silent reading

If your child is enrolled in SAC they will be signed in and taken by SAC staff to the Homework Club. Ashley Ehlig and Haylee Wells will be in charge of Homework Club. If your child has a particular need that the classroom teacher feels would be best addressed by them, arrangements will be made for the child to see the teacher after school.

If you would like your child to attend Homework Club, please review the following rules and turn in the form below.

HOMEWORK CLUB RULES:

Children are to report to Homework Club every day - if homework has been completed, the Aide will still check the work to ensure it is accurate and complete.

While in Homework Club, children are to work quietly. When work has been completed, children are to check with the Aide before leaving. Children will not be released until the Homework Aide has reviewed their work and stamped it as "completed".

Because it is a privilege to come to Homework Club, any child whose behavior is disruptive will be asked to leave and parents will be notified.
