Informational Video-Condensed Version

Hephatha Lutheran School is a private Christian school that was established in 1983 with a vision to minister and educate the young people in a new, booming community. Through the years, the school has grown and become an environment that the faculty members, church members, and attending families feel blessed to call home.

Hephatha day school is K-8th grade.  The Preschool and the grade school has approximately 200 students each.  Hephatha offers an enriched curriculum with music, band, computers, library, electives, homework club, Spanish (K-8), chess club, art club, Artmasters, cheerleading, drill team, theatre, and after school sports for grades 5-8.

Over the past 4 years, 78% of Hephatha’s graduates attended Lutheran High School of Orange County, with one of our graduating students from each year scoring into the Top 5 out of over 500 applicants on Lutheran High's entrance exams. After high school our graduates have attended various places for higher education such as: Concordia, Notre Dame, Princeton, Chapman, USC, UCLA, and many others.

Information received from graduates and their families is that students that attend Hephatha for their elementary and or junior high years are well prepared for high school and higher education. This is consistent with Hephatha’s school philosophy and our expected school wide learning results.

Hephatha Lutheran School is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and National Lutheran School Accreditation. The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) awarded Hephatha Lutheran School a full 6-year accreditation.
